About Charity CottageWhy? The Charity Cottage is a nonprofit business with a social agenda. Proceeds from our store benefit local nonprofits that are struggling in this economy. Now, more than ever, our community needs our help, and the Charity Cottage is a sustainable solution to poverty. By selling donated items, we generate steady income for local nonprofits. What? We are a nonprofit helping other nonprofits! Charity Cottage is also a hub for direct social change for members of our community. We offer the LEAP program (Lift, Educate, Advocate and Proclaim) which helps the underprivileged to learn new business skills by volunteering for the Charity Cottage project. Additionally, members develop a life plan that incorporates personal and professional goals, and we help them get there. Who? The Charity Cottage serves our community directly. We sell quality items, and the proceeds go to local nonprofits and social programs to help the underprivileged in our neighborhoods. Does it Work?
